Environmental Works

Changes are essential to ensure we pass on the beautiful landscapes that we are blessed with and not only maintain their environmental impact, but help create more of these life preserving spaces.
Souters Sports takes great pride in delivering projects that make a contribution to the natural environment.
Environmental work forms an increasing part of our workload and by adopting a sensitive approach to every project ensures that we are able to identify areas for environmental improvement, helping to deliver added value for our clients.
We operate dozers, excavators and cultivation equipment to establish the landscape on large earthmoving projects, but inevitably much of the finishing work is done by hand:
• Wetland habitats and reed beds
• Specialist habitat creation
• Land reclamation
• Country parks and nature reserves
• Cycle ways, bridleways and footpaths
Promoting bio-diversity, or ensuring the protection of an endangered species with the creation of specialist habitats, Souters Sports draws on the specific knowledge of many specialist consultants to assist with projects, to ensure sensitivity is applied to every project.
Our installation work has vastly improved numerous public areas, particularly National Parks, botanical gardens, town parks and golf courses. We handle everything from start to finish, and are comfortable working with architects and consultants to produce areas of which the community can be proud.
We focus our efforts towards the client’s needs and have formed strong relationships with architects, consultants and Local Authorities all over the UK.
